The Foot

Restore confidence in your assessment, clinical reasoning and manual treatment of the foot and ankle.

Sunday 27th September 2026. British College of Osteopathic Medicine, London, NW3 5RR

Sun 27 Sept

09:00-16:30

CPD certificate

£195

THE WHY

Whether you are looking to refresh you existing techniques or expand your clinical toolkit, this practical one-day CPD course is designed to give you greater confidence when assessing and treating the foot and ankle dysfunction.

Through a combination of evidence-informed teaching, live demonstrations and extensive hands-on practice, you will develop a deeper understanding of foot biomechanics, lower limb function and the application of manual therapy in clinical practice.

Using functional movements such as squatting, heel raises and lunging, you will explore how the foot contributes to movement throughout the lower limb and how dysfunction can influence patient presentation.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

During this course you will learn how to:

  • Assess the foot and ankle using a functional, movement-based approach.

  • Understand the biomechanics of the foot, ankle and lower limb.

  • Select appropriate manual therapy techniques based on clinical findings.

  • Safely perform High Velocity Thrust (HVT) techniques where appropriate.

  • Improve your clinical reasoning through real patient case discussions.

THE DAY
